It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Mary (Demers) Mulherin of Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ulysses Demers and Ophelia Demers (Matton); and her husband John Martin Mulherin. She is survived by: her children, John Mulherin (Rhonda) of St. Augustine, Florida, Elizabeth Gilleran (Michael) of Wellesley, Richard Mulherin of Dracut and Laurice Mulherin of Boston; her grandsons, John, Michael, Peter and Daniel Gilleran; and her daughter Candace Mulherin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made to support Pilgrim's activities program by sending a contribution to Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 96 Forest Street, Peabody MA 01960.
