Barbara Ann Doherty Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Doherty of Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Vent and Carrie Vent (Russell); her husband Daniel Joseph Doherty; and her sister Sue Graves. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Belleville (Kevin) of Lynn, Daniel Doherty of Salem, Kelly Rouleau (David) of Danvers, Michael Doherty (Laurie) of Salem, Kerry Fontaine (Jim) of Sandown, NH, Leanne Mattson (Donna) of Laconia, NH and Darcy Doherty of Salem, MA; and her sister Mary Williams of Marblehead. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Josefa Rivera de Grateraux's Funeral Service (84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
