With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brendan John Whelton of Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 16, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Peter N. Whelton. He is survived by: his mother Carol A. Whelton (Leblanc); and his sister Robin Whelton (Andrew Grilz) of Salem. He is also survived by niece, a nephew, several cousins, and numerous friends.

To honor Bren's life, his family encourages donations to Haven for Hunger (Citizens Inn) of Peabody, MA, in lieu of flowers.
