He was predeceased by: his wife Arlene J. Fothergill; and his parents, Hubert Garrity and Edna Garrity. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Garrity of Ossining, NY and Kelly Cahill (Tom) of Salem; his grandchildren, Bradford, Teddy, Virginia, Reggie, Declan and Teagan; the mother of his children Sharyn Garrity of Middletown, RI; his stepson John Ahern (Katie) of Malden; his brothers, Richard Garrity (Beth) of Haddonfield, NJ and Stephen Garrity (Barb) of Pittsfield, MA.; and his siblings' children, Brian, Colleen, Kevin, Michael, Patrick and Matthew. He is also survived by in-laws, numerous cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
