She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas W. C. Giering; her parents, Aucline Sauve and Lydia Sauve (Vachon); her daughter Julie Giering; and her siblings, June Boucher and Leo Sauve.

She is survived by: her sister Anne Marie Levesque of Salem; and her sibling's children, Theresa M. Prescott of Salem, Thomas A. Giering (Jeannie) of Minnesota, John H. Giering (Ruthann) of Danvers, Raymond M. Giering of Salem, Susan J. Giering of Salem and Patricia A. Hawes (Peter) of Florida. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
