He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Bertone and Mabel Bertone (Wilson); his wife Gertrude Bertone; his great-grandparent Larry; and his brothers, Francis and Anthony.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Gavazzi (Robert), Donna Mason (Ken), David Bertone (Bonnie) and Daniel Bertone (Laurie); his siblings, Lorraine Boisvert (Edward), Janice Bouchard and William; his sisters-in-law, Mary, Joan and Madeline; his great grandchild Brian Hubis (Sam); his sons, Jayden, Cameron and Jen Feener (Dan); his granddaughters, Emma and Elise; his son Matt Bertone (Emily); his grandson Julian; his sons, Jamie Wolkiewicz (Morgan) and Jared Bertone (Allie); his grandchildren, Abel, Rowen and David Wolkiewicz (Cecily); his great grandchild Jaxson; and his grandchildren, Nathan Bertone, Marissa Mason, Mackenzie Mason, Mikayla Mason and Melanie Mason.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Josefa Rivera de Grateraux's Funeral Service (84 Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (57 Orne St, Salem, MA 01970). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
