He was predeceased by: his uncle Elmer; his aunt Ruth Bidder; and his parents, Murray Markell and Leah Markell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Markell; his child Jodie Titus (Calvin Titus); his grandchildren, Rachel Conrad and Zachary Titus; and his sister Cheryl Schneider (David Engber).
