He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKenna and Elaine McKenna (Dallaire); and his sister Kathy McKenna. He is survived by: his children, Kaitlin Khalil McKenna and Robert Albert McKenna; his girlfriend Lisa Ann Bolys; his siblings, Susan Munroe, Robert and Billy McKenna; his nieces and nephews, Nick, John, Madison and Elizabeth; and his friend Marc Langevain. He is also survived by many other relatives, friends, coworkers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (85 Federal St, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (15 Hawthorne Blvd, Salem, MA 01970). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (57 Orne St, Salem, MA 01970).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Salem Veterans Assistance Fund, honoring Mike's service and his lifelong instinct to help those in need.
