She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Burnett (Foote) and Samuel Burnett; her sister Sandra Blanchard; and her nephew Matthew Burnett. She is survived by: her brothers, Norman Burnett Sr. and Larry Burnett; her nieces and nephews, David Burnett, Norman Burnett Jr., Joseph Burnett, Patrick Deshane, Gary Deshane, Michele Cote and Brenda Rush; and her close friends, Betty Bovio and Beverly Parsley.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Murphy Funeral Home (85 Federal St, Salem, MA 01970). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Salem Wesley Church (8 North St, Salem, MA 01970). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (57 Orne St, Salem, MA 01970).
