With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard C. Gachignard of Salem, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Gachignard and Clair Gachignard; and his brothers, Raymond and Paul. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his siblings-in-law, Jean Davis of Ashland, MA, Paul Davis (Theresa) of Tucson, AZ and Ted Davis of Intervale, NH; and his nieces, Christine Cherkis (Joel) of Redmond, WA, Laurie Henighan (Tom) of Walpole, MA, Lindsey Davis of Melrose, MA and Leslie Davis (John Faedi) of Monterey, MA..
