It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rickard J. Donovan Sr. of Salem, Massachusetts, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Donovan (Tremblay); his parents, Rickard Donovan and Maybelle Donovan (Phaup); and his children, Rickard Donovan Jr. and Sean Donovan.

He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Darlene Donovan (Carapellucci) of Tewksbury; his granddaughter Samantha Carapellucci-Donovan of Salem; his sister Julia Piwowarski of Los Banos, CA; his nieces, Janice and Maryanne; and his nephew Robert.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rickard's memory to Act Now Foundation, Dementia Center, 3167 Kennedy Blvd., North Bergen, NJ 07047.
