Daniel J. Hamel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel J. Hamel of Salisbury, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Hamel and Helen Hamel (Graney); and his brother Michael Hamel. He is survived by: his wife Jean (Courtemanche); his daughter Danielle Allard (Glenn) of Salem, NH; his grandchildren, Kurt and Ryan; his daughter Denise Hamel of Newburyport, MA; his pet Paul Hamel (Olivia) of Clifton, VA; Avery and Lily. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Methuen Family Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish (22 Plymouth St, Methuen, MA 01844).
