He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chenard and Blanche Chenard (Pinard) of Arundel, Maine.; and his son Guy R. Chenard. He is survived by: his former wife Rose Marie Chenard (Poitras) of Plymouth, Mass; and his children, Brent-David Chenard of Jacksonville, Fla. and Kristin (Bill Hallisey) of Plymouth, Mass.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sandwich, Mass.
