He was predeceased by : his mother Sheila Dahlen (Noonan); his brothers, Shawn and Brent Dahlen; and his niece Katrina Garvey of Duxbury. He is survived by : his nephews, Brian, Timothy, Scott and Michael Dahlen; his son Conor Dahlen; his granddaughter Jada Dahlen of Sandwich; his daughter Kelsie Dahlen of Edgartown; his former life partner Linda Garrison (Tirrell) of Sandwich; his father John M. Dahlen of Marshfield; his siblings, Colleen of Plympton, Deirdre of Kingston, Maura Garvey (Paul) of Duxbury, Neal (Lorrie) of Marshfield and Colin (Loryn) of Kingston; and his sisters-in-law, Cindy Dahlen of Kingston, Susan Kane and Leora Cabral of Kingston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hugh's honor to the Opiate-Free Island Partnership, a 501 (c) nonprofit organization providing much-needed help and support to the Deer Isle community.
