He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl McCormack and Ruth McCormack (O'Connell); his son John E. McCormack, Jr.; his brothers, David McCormack and Harold McCormack; and his son Jackie.
He is survived by: his wife Marie F. McCormack (McCauley) of Sandwich, MA; his daughters, Kathleen Le Gacy of Bourne, MA, Margaret Keenan (Timothy), Ellen Robery of Plainville, MA and Claire Segota (Paul) of Kingston, MA; and his brother Robert McCormack (Anne) of Brockton, MA.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home (154 MA-6A, Sandwich, MA 02563). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Parish (324 Quaker Meetinghouse Rd, East Sandwich, MA 02537). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Patrick's Cemetery (125 Central St, Rockland, MA 02370).
