Rita H. Correia Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita H. Correia of Sandwich, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 12, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Rita is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Rita's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan MacAulay and Eleanor MacAulay (Jones); and her husband Dennis Correia. She is survived by: her children, Cyndi Denmat (John) of Forestdale, Emma Gingrich (David) of Webster, Dennis F. Correia Jr. (Brenda) of Harwich and Robert M. Correia (Gretchen) of Barnstable. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
