He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Backman (Bezanson) of Sandwich; his children, Keith Backman (Kara) of Sudbury and Kristin (Ryan Rooney) of Southborough; his grandchildren, Kelsey and Taylor Rooney; and his sister Jill Keith (Charlie) of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
