We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Alfonso J. Russo of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rena Russo (Hollett); his parents, Joseph S. Russo and Vita Russo (Graffeo); his daughter Cheryl; his siblings, Mary (Mastrorio) and Anthony; his parents-in-law, Mary and Jabez Hollett; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanore Ferguson, Anna Russo, Katie Russo, Joe Mastrorio and James Hollett.
He is survived by: his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Mary of Lynn; his grandson Andrew; his great grandchild Bensen Masiello; his brothers, Larry of Georgetown, Joseph of Georgetown, Charles of Revere and James of South Carolina; his son-in-law Robert Glass of Revere; his sisters-in-law, Rita of Georgetown and Donna of South Carolina; and his close friend Sara Ombrello of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home (549 Lincoln Ave, Saugus, MA 01906). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Al's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
