It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Mortellite (Saugus, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorothy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Charles J. Mortellite; her parents, William McGowan and Margaret Doyle (Walsh); her children, Maureen and Michael; and her brothers, William, Donald, Brendan and James.
She is survived by: her children, Charles J. Mortellite, Jr. (Doreen) of Malden, David Mortellite (Barbara) of Maine and Jamie Mortellite (Anthony Emmanuele) of North Reading. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
