He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Barnard and Kathryn Barnard (Crudden); and his wife Ann Marie (Dolan). He is survived by : his close friend Norma Barbanti; his children, Patricia Morelli (Chuck), James Barnard (Lisa) and Kathryn Glowik (Victor); and his grandchildren, Craig Morelli, Kara Morelli Wells, Jeffrey Glowik (Leanne), Stephanie Alognon (Konzo) and Dana Barnard. He is also survived by his 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (145 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01904).
