He was predeceased by: his parents, William Essery and Frances Essery (Wheeler); and his siblings, James Essery and Elizabeth Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Laurel (Perkins); and his children, John W. Essery, II (Donna) of Rockport, Cheryle A. Robinson (Richard) of Wakefield and Kathy A. Lupien (James). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
