He was predeceased by : his parents, Vincenzo Bitto and Domenica Previte (Quartarone); and his sister Andrea Bitto. He is survived by : his wife Elena (Ferullo); his children, Domenica Montano (Fred) of Saugus and Vincent (Linda) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Freddie Montano (Kelsey), Joseph Montano (Staci), Andrew Montano (Patty), Domenic Montano (Deanna Musto), Angela Montano, Vanessa Bitto and Brandon Bitto; and his siblings, Domenic Bitto, Mario Bitto, Giuseppa D'Amico of Messina, Sicily, Giacomina Losurdo, Melina Mulfari of Sydney and Teresa Ledda of Dedham. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
