He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Johnson and Edith Johnson (Crockford); his grandson Joel B. Laskin; and his daughter-in-law Deborah Johnson (Diamond). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Lindsey); his children, Patricia O'Connor (Mark) of Peabody, Stephen Johnson (Peggy O'Leary) of Webster, FL and Carol Herlihy (Christine Strong) of Tewksbury; and his sister Edith Hansen.
