With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Mary Joyce of Saugus, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Margaret's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Margaret's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may she find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jim" Joyce; her son-in-law Richard Schierloh; and her siblings, Helen Reidy, John Doherty and Bernard Doherty.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline Traynor (Daniel) of Atkinson, NH and Kelly Schierloh of Christiansted; her granddaughter Kate Cutuli (Paul) of Salem, NH; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Daniel Cutuli. She is also survived by her niece, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Church (2 Searles Rd, Windham, NH 03087).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peg's memory may be made to the Grousbeck Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Club of Charlestown (https://www.bgcb.org), a community close to her heart.
