He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Tekula and Irena Tekula (Martinec). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy E. Tekula (Andrews) of Saugus; his siblings, Irene Tekula and Bohuslav Tekula; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley Albonetti, Patrick, Courtney, Anthony and Theo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
