He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Castiello and Maddalena Castiello (Riozzi); and his siblings, Giuseppina Bevione, Giuseppe Castiello and Guido Castiello.

He is survived by: his wife Maria (Cardinale); his children, Robert A. Castiello of Saugus, Andrew G. Castiello of Gloucester and Amy L. Castiello (Brian Joyce) of Andover; and his siblings, Antonia Mandolini of East Boston, Ida Bertuol of Revere, Giovanni Castiello of Italy, Anna Zaccheo of Revere and Gino Castiello of East Boston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
