She was predeceased by: her spouse Laurenio S. Garcia; and her parents, Jose A. Chaves and Angelina Loura. She is survived by: her children, Cidalia M. Lordelo of Norwell, Helder Garcia (Alda) of Scituate, Francisco Garcia of Braintree and Ivo Garcia (Robin) of Slingerlands; her grandchildren, Monica MacFarlane (Scott), Nicole Lordelo (David Alger), Brianna Garcia, Justin Garcia, Aijah Garcia and Atticus Garcia; her great grandchildren, Parker MacFarlane, Ella Adelaide MacFarlane, Rowan Alger, Reed Alger and Leo Alger; her siblings, Dora Chaves and Agnelo Chaves; and her niece Christine Chaves.
