With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ann Callanan of Scituate, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ann left this world on September 26, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Alfred V. Mahoney and Frances Mahoney (McKenna); and her brothers, Alfred V. Mahoney, Jr. and Paul Stephen Mahoney. She is survived by: her husband Kevin Bradley Callanan; her children, Kevin B. Callanan, Jr. (Maryellen) of Boston, Elizabeth Claire Callahan (Michael) of Weston and Christopher Alfred Callanan of Charlestown; and her grandchildren, Megan E. Callanan, Kevin B. Callanan, III, Grace E. Callahan, Michael F. Callahan and Nora C. Callahan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home (160 S Main St, Cohasset, MA 02025). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Nativity Church (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
