It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara H. Downs of Scituate, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jackson and Mildred Jackson (Perry); her husband William Otis Downs; and her brothers, Robert, Jackson (Evelyn) and Gordon Jackson (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Ken Carrison) of Scituate, Heather Cruickshanks of Reading, MA and Paul Downs (Pam); her grandchildren, Mark, Michael, Jennifer, Sarah, Alexander, Chloe and Troy; her great grandchildren, Colton, Parker, Borys, Maryna, Addilyn and Rowan; and her niece Alice Downs. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
