He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Murphy (Fritz) and Celeste Holden Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Brennan Murphy; his children, Tara Murphy (Michael Andrews), Richard Thomas Murphy Jr. and Erin Kate Murphy (Sean Gomez); his grandson Leo; and his siblings, Cynthia, Charlotte, Celeste, Fred, Richard, Raymond and Jerry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews for whom Uncle.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's of the Nativity (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
