She was predeceased by: her mother Mary B. Vinton of West Roxbury; and her siblings, Betty Stanek and Sydney Vinton. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Maschio-Hébert (Paul), Karen Maschio-Joyce (John) and Bethany Maschio (José); her grandchildren, Alicia (Matt), Alexandra, Jayna (Kevin), Kaleigh, Kathryn (Tyler) and Lilliana; her nieces and nephews, Cathy, Mike Harris, Don and Lou Vinton; and her husband Joe.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Esther's memory can be made to the Scituate Food Pantry or the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset. A Foundation in Esther's name is currently being created so that we may give back to the organizations Esther felt so passionately about.
