Eugenie S. Eyster Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugenie S. Eyster in Scituate, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis B. Eyster; her parents, Edouard A. Stackpole and Alice Larsen Stackpole; and her stepdaughter Darlene Eyster (Jeffrey Dryer). She is survived by: her siblings, Renny A. Stackpole (Julie) of Maine, Christopher Stackpole (Alexa) of Rhode Island, Matthew Stackpole (Martha) of West Tisbury, MA and Anita Rezendes of Nantucket; her children, Edouard Starbuck of Hyannis, Francis J. Kniskern III of Berlin, NH, Andrew Kniskern of Claremont, NH, Melissa Kniskern of Tucson, AZ, Matthew Kniskern of Tucson, AZ, Larissa Glasser of Providence, RI, Assia Rachel Raasch (Alan) of Carver and Denise Kniskern; her grandchildren, Sarah, Amber, Crystal, Laura, Alex, Frankie J, Zac, Martine, Megan, Ian, Cameron and Nathaniel; her stepchildren, Valerie Mather (David) of Hull, Louis Eyster (Beth) of Norwell, Kurt Eyster (Barbara) of Westport and Celeste Crowley (Scott) of Scituate; and her nieces and nephews, Andrew Stackpole, Evan Stackpole, Adam Stackpole, Jennifer Stackpole Palmer, Lorena Stackpole, George Rezendes Jr. and Heather. She is also survived by stepmother to his five children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home (373 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
Burial will be September 20th at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Nantucket . lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Nantucket Historical Association, 15 Broad St., Nantucket, MA 02554 nha.org/giving or to the Cardigan Nursing Home, 59 Country Way, Scituate, MA 02066 cardigannursing.com.
