With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James F. Gilbrook of Scituate, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Catherine (Gartland) and John Frederick Gilbrook; and his siblings, John Gilbrook, Paul Gilbrook, Georgiene Melchione and Patty MacKay.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Gilbrook (Jessica) of Hull, Lori McKinnon (Thomas) of Hull, John Gilbrook (Deirdre) of Scituate and Daniel Gilbrook of Weymouth; his siblings, Regina Fernald (Bob) of Plymouth, Mary Ann Peaslee (late Paul) of Hull and Bill Gilbrook of Hull; his grandchildren, Colin Gilbrook, Alex Pease, Seamus Gilbrook, River McKinnon, Wade McKinnon, Saoirse Gilbrook and Isla Gilbrook; and his former wife Patricia Young Gilbrook. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
