He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend James Holland Beal and Georgette Appleton Binney Beal; his sister Nina Gelette (Beal); his wife Alice (Derby); his daughter Laura Southmayd Beal; and his grandchildren, Lucy Georgette Beal and William Thornton Beal.
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Goodrich Beal (Deb); his granddaughter Holland Derby Beal (Holly) of Scituate, MA; his siblings, Boylston Adams Beal (Edna) of Middleton, RI and Josie Beal Stephens of Naples, FL; and his brother-in-law E. Stephen Derby (Carolyn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Luke's Episcopal Church (465 First Parish Rd, Scituate, MA 02066).
