He was predeceased by: his siblings, Patrick, Michael, Thomas, Martin and Mary Feeney; and his parents, Patrick Feeney and Anne Feeney (Gill).
He is survived by: his wife Bridget J. Feeney of Scituate; and his children, Bridget A. Lewis (Scott), Weymouth, John J. Feeney (Denise), Anne T. Moloney (Donny), Patrick T. Feeney (Marnee) of Quincy, Mary J. Feeney of Scituate and Martin F. Feeney (Maureen) of Quincy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA.
