We bid farewell to John W. O'Donoghue Jr. of Scituate, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 14, 2025 at the age of 71. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. O'Donoghue Sr. and Alice M (Bronzo). He is survived by: his wife Bibsy (Swart); his children, Jeanne H. Durkee (Dustin) of Scituate, MA and Connor W. O'Donoghue (Lauren) of Lakewood Ranch, FL.; his grandsons, Jack, Ben Durkee and Leo O'Donoghue; and his siblings, Kevin J. (Gerry), Stephen C. O'Donoghue (Annette), Arlene Belliveau (Jerry), Karen Bagshaw (Mark) and Janet Varney (Phil).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home (160 S Main St, Cohasset, MA 02025). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Nativity Church (1 Kent St, Scituate, MA 02066).
