With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary L. Smith of Scituate, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on January 20, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse R. Fremont Smith; her parents, Weston Belcher and Esther Belcher (Torrey); and her siblings, Marilyn Shepherd, Amy Loughman, William and Weston Belcher.

She is survived by: her children, Tracey Smith of Plymouth, Cheryl Macleod (Scott Macleod) of Hull and J. Stephen Smith; her grandchildren, Matthew Paradiso, Leanne Paradiso, Megan Macleod, Angus Macleod, Flynn Smith and Graeme Smith; her great grandchildren, Helber Nunes, Cash and Jameson Paradiso; and her sister Elizabeth Lynch (Betty). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
