He was predeceased by: his brother John Hynes. He is survived by: his children, Sean M. Hynes (late Patricia M. "Tricia"), Lisa M. Hynes (Thomas Hoadley) of Scituate, Stephanie M. (Patrick Drummond) of Dorchester and Laurie S. (James Muldowney) of Cohasset; his grandchildren, Sean Brady Hynes, Lily E. Hoadley, James M., Riley G. and Braeden P. Muldowney; and his siblings, Maire (Michael Walsh) of Ireland, Thomas (Beryl Hynes) of Ireland, Jude (Colm Beatty) of Ireland, Andy (Bridget Hynes) of Ireland, Ellen (Patrick Mannion) of Ireland, Martin (Pauline Hynes) of Ireland, Stephen (Ann Hynes) of Weymouth, Bartley (Maura Hynes) of Ireland, Coleman Hynes of Ireland and Padraig Hynes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
