He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gibbs (Gelotte); his daughter Aleigha Letha Helene Gibbs of Attleboro; his stepson Justin Gelotte (Bri) of Danvers, MA; his father-in-law David Gelotte of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Emerson and Brooks Gelotte; his siblings, Larry Gibbs (Elaine), Ervin Gibbs (Willie Mae), Dennis Hamilton (Veronica), Samuel Mufaro (Laura), Carolyn Burt, Jennifer Cannon (Bradley), Roman Gibbs and Herbert Biggs, Jr.; and his friend Wayne Shepherd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
