He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert, Sr. Gibbs and Letha Gibbs (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gibbs (Gelotte); his daughter Aleigha Letha Helene Gibbs of Attleboro; his stepson Justin Gelotte (Bri) of Danvers, MA; his father-in-law David Gelotte of Seekonk; his grandchildren, Emerson and Brooks Gelotte; his siblings, Larry Gibbs (Elaine), Ervin Gibbs (Willie Mae), Dennis Hamilton (Veronica), Samuel Mufaro (Laura), Carolyn Burt, Jennifer Cannon (Bradley), Roman Gibbs and Herbert Biggs, Jr.; and his friend Wayne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William W. Tripp Funeral Home (1008 Newport Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861-2594). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church (340 Central Ave, Seekonk, MA 02771-3923).
