He was predeceased by: his wife Victoria K. Couris (Rufful); his parents, Ernest Couris and Epstatha Couris (Feidas); his son John E. Couris, Jr. (Mary Matz-Couris) of Coconut Creek, FL; and his siblings, Theodore Couris, Demetria Kananis and Kontadina Lopes.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kristin A. Couris of Coconut Creek, FL; and his nephew Paul Rufful of Seekonk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
