He was predeceased by: his parents, Fransisco Bernardo and Romana Bernardo (Jorge); and his siblings, Antonio Bernardo, Manuel Bernardo and Maria Ameransa.
He is survived by: his spouse Ismenia Bernardo (Faria); his children, Marie Bernardo Sousa (Alan) and Jorge Bernardo (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Christian Wesolowski (Stephanie), Samantha Bernardo and Jack Bernardo.
