He was predeceased by: his father John C. Seekell Sr.; and his brother James Peter Seekell. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Seekell (Dow) of Seekonk; his children, Christopher J. Seekell (Kim Johnson) of Providence, RI, Adam D. Seekell of Dighton and Shannon M. Thomas of Taunton; his grandchildren, Aiden Joubert, Madison Thornton, Logan Seekell, Thomas Thornton and Connor Seekell; and his siblings, Sandra Seekell of Norton and John "Jack" Seekell Jr. of Fryeberg, ME. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Cemetery (24 Glebe St, Taunton, MA 02780).
