He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Lois; his parents, Ralph Pill and Freda Pill (Rommer); his siblings, Robert and Arlene; his sons, Jeffrey and David; his children-in-law, Linda and Hillary; and his grandchildren, Jake, Liza and Hannah. He was also cherished by great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067). A shiva was held on Wednesday, January 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ledgebrook (261 Nahanton St, Newton, MA 02459).
