He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bernard and Alice Edith Roach (Fowler); his wife Carlene Roach (Rickert); and his siblings, Walter "Joe" Roach and Frances Childs.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Godwin (Christopher Godwin) and Norman Kingsley; his grandchildren, Shawn Godwin and Kayla Starner (Godwin); his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Celeste Starner, Gabrielle and Carlene Godwin; and his sister Anna "Nancy" Borden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
