He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Henken and Rose Henken; his wife Charlene Henken; and his brother Marvin. He is survived by: his sons, Richard and Robert; his daughters-in-law, Gabrielle and Barrie; his grandchildren, Herbert, Julia, Danny, Sam, Ben, Brooke and Blaire; and his great grandchildren, Rozzie and Mickey.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels (475 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Sharon Memorial Park (40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA 02067).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Herb's memory to Orchard Cove, located at 1 Del Pond Drive, in Canton, MA (02021).
