He is survived by: his children, Carrie McCarthy (Joseph Doran) of Quincy, Joseph McCarthy Jr. (Heather) of West Bridgewater, William McCarthy (Karen) of Florida and Cindy Richard (Derek) of Milton; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Bowden (late Barbara Annis Bowden) of Easton and Darlene Annis of Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
