He is survived by: his wife Joan Lainer (Miller); his children, Amy Gruber (Larry) of Hull and Steve Lainer of Sharon; his grandchildren, Elliott (Rachael), Andrew, Samantha (Ben) and Tyler; and his great grandchild Nina.
