He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Zeigler and Gertrude Zeigler (Carney); his daughter Michelle Bennett; and his siblings, Joe, Claire Black and Trudy Holly.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen Zeigler (Goggin) of Sharon; his daughters, Christine McCormack of Sharon, Cathleen Carneiro (Ilidio) of Bellingham, Marybeth Battis (William) of Marshfield and Kara Gilardi (Tom) of Chicago; his son-in-law Jeff Bennett of Lake Luzerne, NY; and his grandchildren, Cody, Mackenzie, Graceann, Cole, Katharine and Jack.
