She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis; and her mother Miriam. She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Soares and Melissa Strassberg; her grandchildren, Meadow and Leo; her sister Mindy; and her pet Boo.

The family asks that donations to the Humane Society be made instead of flowers or other gifts.
