He was predeceased by: his parent Millie Petersen; his sister Joan Petersen; and his nephew Daryl Bartholomew. He is survived by: his wife Betty G. Petersen; his children, Tamar P. Schrager and Andrew Petersen (Kim Lavoie); and his sister Ilamay P. Bartholomew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home (426 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Sheffield Center Cemetery (71 Berkshire School Rd, Sheffield, MA 01257).
